What’s the Work Out Secret?


What is the number one excuse people use to not exercise or eat properly?  NOT ENOUGH TIME!!! In all the years I’ve spent in this industry, it’s the most common reason I get from people.  You can probably guess what my reaction is to THAT excuse!  Make it!

These days people work too much and simply don’t make their personal health and well being a priority.  That has to change NOW!  We all want to live a long, happy and healthy life.  It won’t happen unless we MAKE TIME for a healthy lifestyle.

We tend to juggle work, school, family and our social lives, but we can’t give ourselves a little time to get some exercise in?  It all comes down to time management.  Set your exercise routine schedule and make it a primary task that has to be done each day.  You wouldn’t miss a date with your spouse, or a doctor’s appointment, or your child’s play, so look at it as an appointment you have with yourself.

Involve your family and get everyone moving.  If you have children, bring them to the gym with you.  Show them that the gym is fun!  If they’re too small to have their own membership, get them into the day care and put it in their head that the gym is a good place to be. If your kids enjoy it at an early age, they will continue to make it a part of their lives as they grow up.  Just think that the domino effect that it creates. And it’s all because YOU started making time for yourself!
